The Regional Account Representative is a mid-level / associate position with the opportunity for growth.

The candidate will be expected to call on HVAC wholesalers at the corporate and branch levels, promote the company’s products (condensate pumps & accessories, and HVAC measurement tools) with the goal of putting on new customers, as well as managing existing customers within their territory (Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkasas, & Louisianna).

A working knowledge of the HVAC industry is required. As a Regional Account Representative, you will be expected to perform various tasks, duties, and responsibilities. The following points highlight the major functions of the position:

  • Establish and maintain channels between HVAC wholesalers/resellers and product developers
  • Oversee the sales activities of the organization’s products/services in the outlined territory
  • Become a resource for HVAC dealers and distributors
  • Develop and review both short and long term sales strategies
  • Evaluate appropriate new sales techniques and ensure its implementation in order to increase sales volume of the territory
  • Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential
  • Ensure region sales volume is at its possible best
  • Offer technical support to wholesalers and end users
  • Establish good customer service
  • Locate marketing opportunities and partnerships

 

Position Requirements:

For a candidate to be considered for the position of Regional Account Representative, there are certain skills, competencies, and qualities they must possess, these include:

  • Live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred, or related work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or related organization
  • Self-starter
  • The ability to work autonomous and as part of a team
  • Possession of good networking capabilities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be flexible and to multitask
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision at all
  • A strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures having to do with sales activities
  • Ability to travel overnight both by car and by plane
  • A fair understanding of basic economic and business concepts
  • Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
